How does LeadRebound work?
Install the app on the Android phone that takes your business calls. When a call rings out, that phone texts the caller back within seconds, from your own number. The AI answers their questions using the profile you set up. When someone is ready to book, their name, job, and preferred time land on your dashboard as a lead.
Do I need a new number or call forwarding?
No. Other services route your calls through a number they own. LeadRebound runs on your own phone, so texts come from the exact number your customers already dial: the one on your van, your cards, your Google listing. Nothing to port, nothing to forward, nothing to break.
Does it work if my phone is off or has no signal?
No. Everything runs through your phone. It notices the missed call and sends the text, so it needs to be on and have cell signal. In a dead zone, or with the phone off, the call never reaches your phone in the first place; callers land in your regular voicemail. LeadRebound is for the calls you miss because you're too busy to answer, mid-job or mid-appointment, not because you're off the grid.
What happens when I do answer?
Nothing. No text goes out. Only calls that ring out, or that you decline, trigger the text-back. Prefer declined calls to stay silent too? Turn that off in the app under Call handling. Either way, answer like you always do; LeadRebound steps in only when you can't.
Can it actually book the job?
Yes. LeadRebound reads your phone's calendar, offers times that are genuinely open during your business hours, and books the appointment straight into the calendar when the caller picks one. If a slot gets taken mid-conversation, it apologizes and suggests other times. Calendar booking comes with Pro.
Do the texts cost anything extra?
Texts send through your phone's own SMS plan, exactly like texts you type yourself. On plans with unlimited texting they cost nothing extra. The Free plan covers 15 conversations a month; Pro is unlimited.
What do I need to get started?
An Android phone (Android 8 or newer) that receives your business calls, and about five minutes: install the app, pair it with a code from your dashboard, then paste your website so the AI drafts your profile. iPhone support is on the way.
